   AME Course has mainly Two categories mentioned below:

Category A- Category ‘A ’licence is of 1 year programme includes a total 800 hours of training, it also includes training in the actual airport environment in an airlines or Maintenance Repair Organization(MRO). After category “A’ licence engineer can do layover inspection of aircraft.After completion of the course, students can apply for the license. The license is issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.

  2. Category B- Category ‘B’ licence is of 4 year programme including total 2400 hours of training. It also includes training in the actual airport environment in an airlines or Maintenance Repair Organization(MRO). Category ‘B’ Licence holders can do all types of minor & major Maintenance tasks in aircraft. After completion of the course, students can apply for the license. The license is issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course Eligibility Criteria for admission

  1. For Aircraft Maintenance Engineering eligibility is 12th pass with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics

  2. 3 year Engineering Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical /Electronics 

  3. Candidate age at the time of admission should be minimum 16 years.

  4. Candidates must pass a general medical test & color blindness test.
