Category A- Category ‘A ’licence is of 1 year programme includes a total 800 hours of training, it also includes training in the actual airport environment in an airlines or Maintenance Repair Organization(MRO). After category “A’ licence engineer can do layover inspection of aircraft.After completion of the course, students can apply for the license. The license is issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.

Category B- Category ‘B’ licence is of 4 year programme including total 2400 hours of training. It also includes training in the actual airport environment in an airlines or Maintenance Repair Organization(MRO). Category ‘B’ Licence holders can do all types of minor & major Maintenance tasks in aircraft. After completion of the course, students can apply for the license. The license is issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.
